Index analysis of changes in the average wages of workers in creative professions in the Republic of Crimea

The study describes the importance of creative professions (creative class) that have a high level of intellectual potential for the development of the creative (orange) sector of the economy and make a significant contribution to the social and cultural life of modern society. Changes in the average wages of employees of creative professions in the Republic of Crimea in 2018 (baseline) and 2022 (reporting) are analyzed taking into account three determining indices (indicators): variable composition index, fixed composition index, structural shift index. It was revealed that the changes in structural shifts in the average number of employees in the creative professions of the Republic of Crimea had a smaller impact on the increment of the percentage of average wages of employees by groups of occupations. At the same time, the key structural shifts are directly related to the increase in the average wages of such workers in the studied groups of occupations in the reporting period.
