Indicators of assessing competitiveness of the economy of the agrarian sector

The most important role in ensuring a competitive and independent level of economic development is played by the personnel potential and its creative component, as a structural part of the resource potential. The need to consider the system of issues of the personnel problem within the framework of a separate national project "human resources" is substantiated. The severity of the problem and its impact on economic development is confirmed by calculations of the demographic burden and structural changes in human resources. The scientific article provides a comparative analysis of individual structural indicators of the development of the agrarian sector of the country and the region and assesses dynamics of the development of the resource potential of agricultural organizations registered in the Orel region. From the point of view of the target indicators of the country's development, the main indicators for assessing the competitiveness of the agrarian sector are the level of labor productivity and wages, along with the effective indicators of its development. Certain aspects of scientific discussions on the possibilities of increasing labor productivity with the development of artificial intelligence are considered. Ensuring a sustainable and dynamic economy in the country can be achieved with the simultaneous interaction of the following levers: technological leadership; digital transformation; growth of labor productivity, largely due to the high level of professional training of the personnel and its labor motivation
