Development indicators in conditions of the innovation economy formation

The article considers the important issue of the modern period, the one of estimationof national economy social and economic development level in conditions oftransition to innovative economy. The applied indicators analysis is presented as abasis for the conclusion about their non-conformity to modern tasks of innovative development, and the application of a number of complementary indicators is substantiated. The author presents the characteristics of each of them and argues the prospects of their use in the development of new management solutions, adequate to the tasks of transition to the innovative type of economic development. Ensuring a high level of human capital development is actualized as the most important task of social and economic policy.
