Individualization and differentiation of punishment in the context of reforming the criminal justice system of Kyrgyzstan

The fight against crime is one of the pressing issues in modern conditions. Despite the fundamental studies of various types of differentiation and individualization of punishment in legal science, including in criminal, criminal-executive, nevertheless, some aspects in domestic legal science are given insufficient attention. The main objective of the article is to identify the characteristic features of differentiation and individualization of punishment. Based on the results of the study, views on the content of differentiation and individualization of punishment are summarized and its characteristic features are determined.
