Individualization of education in practice-oriented higher school programs

The article examines the problem of transition to flexible adaptive programs in the context of education reform and the introduction of new Educational Standards. In particular, the author reveals the advantages of the new structure of the educational program, proving greater opportunities for a student to receive a competitive education with a wide range of universal, general and professional competencies. The article also focuses on the practice oriented nature of modern education and the transition to a competency based learning model. This kind of transformation requires different methods of interaction between teachers and students, as well as technical reequipment of the educational process. However, technology is only a means of achieving the main goal of modernization of education, which is a person, his interests and prospects. The study used both academic methods: empirical description, comparative method; and innovative: a comparative research method. Government documents, educational resources and platforms, scientific and practical articles of international format were used as an analytical base.
