The article discusses the approaches to planning the individual educational trajectory implementation in vocational educational institutions. The fulfillment of this goal requires unequivocal compliance of differentiation and individualization principles in educational process organization. The main point is to maximize the use of individual potential, to identify personal inclinations and aptitudes, creating conditions for their development while mastering “the content of education”. The article emphasizes the necessity to provide the learner with the freedom of choice and autonomy in some areas of his life.
