Industrial heritage as an important component of the image industrial region (sociological analysis)

In their work the authors (historian and sociologist) on the basis of the sociological analysis conducted among the citizens of Yekaterinburg, reveal the influence of industrial heritage and culture on the content of such socio-economic phenomena such as the image of the Ural region and its capital city of Yekaterinburg. They indicate that at this time, the image of the region is not all positive. And here the great value has the factor of industrial heritage and culture, which has a real impact on the formation of the positive image of the region. It is shown the high economic efficiency of the positive image of the region. Of the examples the authors demonstrate the necessity of a work on the use of sociological content in a specified order. It is underlined large prospects for the implementation of this initiative and the need for regular sociological surveys of the population on this issue that will be an indicator in this work. This is one of the first publications on this important issue.
