Industrial heritage of the Chinese Eastern Railway as a contour of the modern development of the region (on the example of Boketu, Yakeshi city district of China)

The present article examines the conceptualization of industrial heritage, examines the formation of its research principles, analyses industrial heritage as a practice in a particular region, and describes technologies for its preservation in a certain territory. It is shown that despite the importance of the industrial heritage of the Chinese-Eastern Railway (CER), the concept of its integration into the modern life of the Celestial Empire has not been sufficiently developed today. The problem of using innovative and traditional technologies that ensure the safety of the KVZhD as an object of culture is actualized. It is noted that the restoration of the objects of the historical railway infrastructure of the Chinese-Eastern Railway, which has architectural and aesthetic advantages, can support the movement of the Celestial Empire to preserve the national heritage and increase the influence of Chinese culture at the international level. It is emphasized that their existence plays a city-forming role in Yakeshi County and can become a center of attraction for foreign tourists when developing an appropriate program.
