Industrial heritage in museum collections of Altai territory

The article presents an analytical review of the main objects of the industrial heritage, which are stored and exhibited in the museums of the Altai Territory. In the «Museum named after Akinfy Demidov mining industry development history» of the city of Zmeinogorsk exhibits on the history of mining XVIII-XIX centuries presented in the exhibition, and in the open air. The museum popularizes industrial history of the region and the remained objects of industrial heritage, it is the most interesting tourist object which is visited not only by residents of the region, but also visitors from other regions of Russia, foreign tourists. In the Altai State Museum of Local History (Barnaul), a unique collection of models and mock-ups related to the history of mining.
