The article deals with the issues of “miracle” in “The Tale of Tsar Saltan” by Pushkin, the new version of interpretation of ornithological and zoomorphic codes on Slavic mythological and folklore lyric-epic traditions is proposed. The plot of the tale is interpreted according to content the song, which is hardly outlined with well-known incipit “Whether in the garden, in the garden”. The new aspect of research is the interpretation of the scene of scramble of the Kite with the Swan as an erotic symbol action, had been fixed before in folklore and art traditions and which let us mark the image of the Swan in pejorative spirit, taking into account Pushkin’s text and context.
