Information asymmetry in the modern information economy slows down or prevents the development of normal market relations, generating and maintaining acute contradictions, provoking opportunism of transaction subjects, distortion of basic guidelines, which ultimately destabilizes the market. Negative consequences of asymmetry in the current situation, limiting competition, limit the efficiency of markets. After the global financial crisis of 2008-2010, states are actively looking for institutional means to minimize information asymmetry, in the economic doctrine there are intensive discussions on this topic, including on the ways and problems of securitization, but the results are still uncertain. The objective of economic entities remains the adequacy and timeliness of management decisions and measures, which is possible only on the basis of objective and relevant information about the transaction, the market, existing institutions and plans for their transformation, as well as the quality of existing and formally generally accepted assessment (rating) systems. All this, as the global crisis of 2008-2010 and subsequent development showed, is not enough to compensate for (overcome) information asymmetry.
