Information culture of the personality in the context of traditions and innovations of the modern society

The paper presents a social and philosophical analysis of the phenomenon of the personality's information culture in the context of traditions and innovations of the modern society. Being a part of the general culture, information culture develops along with the numerous social processes in terms of global informatization. It is an important part of the mechanism that helps the personality adapt to the information society and contributes to the development of constructive dialogue both at the interpersonal level and within the relationship between the personality and society. These functions can be implemented due to the combination of technical and humanitarian components in the information culture. The author focuses on this factor.
