Personal information culture - the meta-competence of a modern specialist in the field of culture and arts

The article presents the text of the author's report at the XXVI International Scientific Conference "Librarianship-2024: Library in new Geopolitical Realities" (April 16-17, 2024, Moscow State Institute of Culture). Modern approaches to pedagogical design of educational outcomes in the projection of readiness for professional and social practices in the digital environment are analyzed. In line with the methodological communication of complex and polysystem approaches, a competence is being developed that implements the system of society's requirements for a university graduate in the digital economy. The heuristic of considering the information culture of a person from the standpoint of a competence approach is revealed. Theoretically, the expediency of interpreting the information culture of a person as a meta-competence is justified. The article analyzes the experience of forming an information culture of personality among future specialists in the field of culture and arts.
