The article discusses the possibility of using the information educational environment of high school as a means of developing students' self-education culture in the process of their studying the subjects of a geometric- graphic course. The article presents the structure of the information educational environment and describes a method for the use of one of the components of this structure that is electronic educational resources in the organization of independent work of students based on the example of BlackBoard.
