Information and analytical competence as the basis of professional activity of the modern pharmacist

The article reveals the main modern requirements to the specialist of the pharmaceutical industry existing in the pharmaceutical market. Despite the presence of pharmacies with different activities, according to surveys, there are General requested characteristics to future employees. It is necessary to have flexibility, the ability to quickly rebuild. The tendency to high innovative dynamics in the industry, also dictates the following requirements for job seekers: readiness for continuous self-education, regular modernization of professional skills, the presence of competent business communications, the ability to cooperate, at the same time the ability to take responsibility for actions in unusual and uncertain situations, the ability to make responsible decisions, the gift of critical thinking, self-government as the behavior and their own activities and the activities of others, ability to work with different sources of information, effective behavior in vital situations, under stress factors, etc. As we can see, the requirements of employers are determined not only by the knowledge of graduates of higher educational institutions, but also the ability to multi-faceted activities. The article analyzes the specifics of the activities of pharmaceutical specialists. For this purpose, we consider the functions performed by pharmacy staff both in the Russian Federation and abroad. A number of works of different authors with similar subjects are studied. Based on the analysis of these sources, a survey of specialists in the pharmaceutical industry and their own empirical experience, a model of the functional performed by these specialists is revealed. Conclusion: in the formation of the role model of the performed functional staff of the pharmacy institution engaged in the release of finished dosage forms, clearly drawn its leading competence: information, communication and analytical. The definition of such concepts as competence and competence is given. Thus, this study reveals the relationship between the specific activities of pharmaceutical specialists and the formation of professional competence in the system of professional development of these specialists.
