The article introduces the definition information and legal model of medicine. The structural elements of this model are basic prescribing information for healthcare specialists and patients, advertising materials, legal acts regulating processes of development and distribution of information on medicines. This model should contribute to rational use of medicines that will result in safer medical activity and creation of safe conditions for implementation of constitutional law on health protection.
