Information support of the international special anti-drug operation «Channel» in the format of the collective security treaty organization

The article presents the results of a research of information support for an international special anti-drug operation conducted by the Collective Security Treaty Organization with the involvement of third countries and international structures. The main stages of the development of information support for the international special anti-drug operation «Channel», their goals and objectives are determined. The nature and thematic orientation of information guides, the main topics and information dominants of publications are revealed. During the research, methods of studying documents and results of activities, observation, content analysis, expert assessments, surveys, generalizations, etc. were used. The research gives an idea of the general understanding of the information support of the international special anti-drug operation, its specifics and methods of organization. The results of the research can be transposed to organize information support for counteraction to other modern challenges and threats: illegal migration, illegal trafficking of weapons and ammunition, mercenary activities, etc.
