Information support of import substitution monitoring in innovative sectors of the Russian economy

The need for development of information support of import substitution monitoring in innovative sectors of the Russian economy is determined by the problems of statistical accounting and evaluation of the contribution made by innovative industries to the domestic economy and the demand for import of goods and technologies. Methodological approaches to the assessment of the import substitution in the innovative economic sectors with the use of official statistics are studied by case of the pharmaceutical industry. The authors justify the use of the value added amount in the innovative products manufacturing as an integral indicator of the efficiency of the import substitution policy.
