The article reveals the informational basis of the pedagogy of leisure time based on the characteristics of the major indicators of Informatization of the modern society (socio-economic, cultural or psychological); the role and significance of social, educational and legal information in the process of leisure; isolated and characterized the main features of the significance of the information to optimize process control in the pedagogical subsystem “specialist of social-cultural sphere - the generalized subject of leisure activities”, reveals the essence of information culture. It is noted that the processes of information accumulating in the search processing, storage and transmission of information, occupy a significant place in the cultural space of society, under which the pedagogy of leisure.
