The article is devoted to the impact of information technology (IT) on the activities of transnational corporations (TNCs) in the consumer sector. The operations of TNCs in the consumer sector are increasingly determined by information flows and the use of ICT. Changes in consumer behavior, market fragmentation, the emergence of global products, suppliers and customers, the rapid digitalization of all aspects of modern society have led to an increase in the importance of information and communication technologies for TNCs in the consumer sector.Big data and business analytics are especially important.
