Information technologies in teaching Russian as a foreign language: challenges, experience, prospects

The experience of the Far Eastern Federal University in the use of new information technologies in the teaching and learning by students of foreign countries of the Russian language as a foreign language is presented. Key aspects of the content, forms and methods, technical means of training and teaching in this area are touched. It is shown that the prospects for the implementation of new information technologies in higher education are associated with the development of artificial intelligence and the formation of pedagogy and methods of virtual education.
