Informational potential of numismatic collections of the Umrevinsk ostrog (fortress) and Mangazeya

The article dwells upon informational potential of numismatic collections of the Umrevinsk ostrog (fortress) and Mangazeya. It determines certain regularities related to coins distribution according to the time of mintage and facts of the Umrevinsk ostrog and Mangazeya history. The numismatic material analysis conducted provides a solid basis for reconstructing the history of the Umrevinsk ostrog and Mangazeya economic activity determined by cash turnover. This article contains the comparison of coins distribution according to the time of mintage and voyages from Tobolsk and Beryozov to Mangazeya, which enables one to put forward a hypothesis concerning an 11-year interval between a coin mintage in the European Part of Russian and its emergence in Mangazeya.
