Informed voluntary consent to medical intervention: finding a balance between doctor and patient interests

The Problem of legal regulation of “medical” legal relations is a topical issue for both the legal and medical community. In this regard, it is necessary to find a balance of interests between doctors and patients in the provision of medical care. Most clearly, the need to achieve this balance is manifested in the form of informed voluntary consent to medical intervention. At the same time, the legal significance of this legal mechanism is not fully defined and is controversial in the scientific community.
