Awareness assessment of the policy paper “Basic principles of the social programme of Russian Muslims”

The article summarizes the results of the research conducted by the author which assesses the awareness of the conceptual paper of Russia's Muslim community "Basic Principles of the Social Programme of Russian Muslims" and its role in the Muslims’ community. The author notes the extremely low level of respondents’ awareness about the existence and theses of the mentioned document, which may be associated with insufficient educational activities of religious figures. It is concluded that it is necessary to popularize the social programme as well as develop the mechanisms of its implementation.
