Infrastructural constraints and prospects of transport communication development in the south of Russia

The study of infrastructural constraint of the economic growth of southern regions grows in connection with a high tear and wear of the existing infrastructure and also in connection with the necessity of the creation of new infrastructural objects capable of becoming a serious impulse for the development of the regions encompassed by this infrastructure. The implementation of infrastructural projects is destined to satisfy the needs of enterprises and population in transportation to encourage the increase of the gross domestic product (gross regional product in particular), to maintain the national defense of the country. The paper shows the current state of infrastructure in the Kerch Strait seaboard. It is shown that the bridge across the Strait is an essential project to stimulate the economic activity (interregional and international trade), capacity cargo and passenger flows.
