The author explores the problems of socialization of students with disabilities in the context of their involvement in the process of inclusive social design on the example of the activities of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs. It is concluded, that the process of socialization should involve not only government entities, but also civil society institutions, including specialized non-profit organizations operating in the field of social integration of persons with various forms of disability in synchronization with professional educational organizations and higher educational institutions. Based on the analysis of medical and social approaches, a model of socialization of students with disabilities was developed in the context of the implementation of inclusive social projects, introduced into the practice of forum campaigns of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs. The model was based on the idea of forming social and team leadership, the institution of mentoring and volunteering. The testing of the model has been launched in 2018 with the support of the working group on the socialization of young people with disabilities at the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs and the Tyumen City College of Industrial and Social Technologies. By 2020, it has made it possible to create new inclusive platforms at such youth educational forums as Ladoga (Leningrad Region), Selias (Astrakhan Region), the MORNING Forum in the Urals Federal District and a number of others. The described model was presented as part of the publication of the scientific yearbook of the Center for Analysis and Forecasting of the Chelyabinsk Branch of the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation.
