Innovations and digitalization of the Russian economy

In the conditions of search of the most optimum and creative strategy of growth of the Russian economy, ensuring the worthy standard of living for the population the problem of development of innovations amplified. The Russian economy has to not only remain the world leader in the energy sector, production and processing of raw materials, but also to create competitive economy of knowledge and high technologies. In article the economic essence of innovations in aspect of digitalization of the country is considered. Activization of development of digital economy acts as a necessary condition for formation of the innovative climate stimulating innovations which are characteristic of our future that is explained by progress in the field of microelectronics, different information technologies, telecommunications gain important independent value and updates this subject. In article approaches of the Russian and foreign scientists and classification of innovations are analysed, the concept “innovation” is opened and specified, influence of digital economy on innovative development of the country is noted. The concept “digital economy” which can be presented how set of the organizational, economic, technological and other events held in the information and communication sphere forming favorable innovative climate is rethought. The conclusion is drawn that the innovation as economic category, has dynamics of development on acceleration of which formation of favorable conditions in aspect of digitalization of the country has an impact.
