Innovation security and living standards of the population in the region

The interrelation and interaction of innovation security and living standards of the region are considered. The author gives definition to innovation security of the region. The results of diagnosis of innovation security and living standards in the regions of the Ural Federal District are given for the period 2000-2011. As a part of relations of the concepts characterizing innovative development a new concept is introduced that is an innovative benday.
