Innovative and technological development of poultry

World meat production increases continuously. In 2005 it was 265,2 mil. t., and in 2012 it increased to 294 mil. t. Production of meat of all animals types in the world for the period from 1950 to 2012 has increased by 6 times. For this period pig meat production has increased by 6,7 times. Maximum growth intensity for analogical period correspond to poultry meat production - by 11,8 times. In 2012 in the structure of the world production 37,4% of meat in slaughter weight corresponded to pig meat; 34,1% - to poultry; 22,2% - to beef and 4,5% - to lamb meat. Other its types correspond to 1,8%. According to forecast of Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) for 2011-2025, the annual meat growth corresponds to: poultry meat 3,1%, pig meat - 2,6%, beef - 1,3%. World egg production in 2013 was 1 tln. 375 bln. China occupies the leading position in these product volumes- 473 bln. or nearly 35% of world production. The second place belongs to the USA - 91 bln. eggs. Russia occupies the sixth place - 41,3 bln. eggs. Modern Russia poultry occupies rather sufficient place in providing increasing consumers’ demand of the population for branch product. In 2013 poultry meat production in slaughter weight corresponded to 3817 thous. t, that is more than the level of 2012 г. in 5,3%. In the world rating of countries - producers of poultry meat Russia is included into the first five countries. The main factors of production growth are the realization of innovative processes and complex modernization of poultry in the framework of realization of national project «Development of Agro Industrial Complex» and State program of agriculture development. In the conditions of Russia membership in the World Trade Organization and Eurasian Economic Union the main condition of profitable work of poultry enterprises is intensive branch directing with implementation of innovative resource saving technologies of poultry management and feeding, application of modern methods of stockbreeding, providing high productivity, preservation and feed conversion rate, organization of production advanced processing, strict regime of losses economy on all production areas.
