The innovative development of industrial, social and market infrastructure of regional food complex

In this article the authors share their ideas on some aspects of food complex efficiency from the viewpoint of innovative development. Currently, the development of market infrastructure of food complex of the Russian Federation and its regions, is characterized by the lack of investment resources, despite all the attempts by the government to resolve this issue by creating public funds and developing the public-private partnership. The unconventional mechanisms and tools of innovation investment in the food complex infrastructure which are common in the world practice remain poorly developed in Russia. This situation is explained by the lack of transparent and convenient conditions for investors which would allow modelling the innovation infrastructure of food complex. In addition, the legal framework regulating investment activities in innovation processes as far as the food sector is concerned, can not actively attract investment. Thus, these circumstances determine the objective necessity to search for options of such organization of innovation infrastructure and food complex investment that would ensure the creation and growth of innovative enterprises and, as a result, the economic growth of Regions and Russia as a whole. The relevance of this research article is determined by the highly mentioned factors.
