Innovative development of the regions of the Volga federal district

The article presents the results of the study of the parameters of innovation development of the subjects of the Volga Federal District. A comparative analysis is carried out and the inconsistency of values for a number of key indicators is revealed. The share of innovative products, activity of enterprises, their potential, as well as the costs of innovation activities are considered. The inconsistency of different assessments of innovation activity is confirmed by the assessment of the ratio of the volume of innovative products to the costs of this activity.
