The innovation ecosystem as a factor of economic security of Russia

The article discusses the possibilities of ensuring the economic security of Russia in terms of creating ecosystems in the transition of the economy to an innovative path of development. The author considers the main trends of economic development of the Russian Federation from the point of view of ensuring national security within the Strategy of scientific and technological development. The questions of necessity of development and formation of system of monitoring of economic safety taking into account the innovative factor based on criteria of technological safety are touched upon. The main conclusions are that methodological approaches to assessing economic security should be improved as the economy transforms and take into account its development.
