The article is devoted to the study of the processes of innovative development of the modern economy. The factors contributing to the use of innovations in production are considered, the most important of which are modern information technologies that directly affect the quality of products, including by motivating and stimulating the employee's labor activity. The article notes the need for the development of the structures of an innovative economy in Russia, the foundations of the theory of which were formed by J. Schumpeter at the beginning of the 20th century, and although the country already has almost all the organizational forms used in the world for creating innovations, the chains of formation of innovative products are distinguished by significant openness. ... In the formation of the innovation infrastructure in Russia, as the author notes, paramount importance is given to the development of innovative territorial clusters (ITCs), which are already actively functioning, especially in such areas of activity as nuclear technology, the space industry, medicine, optics, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology. The activities of the ITC, contributing to the strengthening of interaction between educational institutions, business incubators, R&D centers and financial institutions, leads to the active use of the results of scientific research in the production.
