This article is devoted to the personnel management mechanism, as one of the most important elements of the effective functioning of business entities, including a sports organization. The article reflects the relevance of the studied issue, traditional methods of personnel management, as well as innovative approaches to personnel management. Currently, more and more attention is paid to the personnel potential of the business entity. Proper management of the available personnel potential allows the business entity to increase its competitiveness, reduce costs and, as a result, increase the efficiency of its functioning. Among the innovative methods of personnel management are presented such as: staff leasing, outsourcing and personnel outstaffing. Innovative approaches to personnel management are becoming increasingly relevant and prove their effectiveness.
