В статье представлены современные инновационные технологии лечения пациентов с субклиническим каротидным атеросклерозом с использованием агрессивной липидкоррегирующей фармакотерапии в высокоинтенсивном дозовом режиме статинов. При этом у пациентов высокого и очень высокого риска с гемодинамически значимым и критическим каротидным стенозом следует проводить дифференцированный отбор на безальтернативные технологии хирургической реваскуляризации - каротидную эндартерэктомию или стентирование.
