Innovative technologies in the work of the organization of the electoral commission

The problem of information protection by its transformation, excluding its reading by an unauthorized person has worried the human mind since ancient times. The history of cryptography is the same age as the history of human language. Moreover, originally writing itself was a cryptographic system, because in ancient societies it was owned only by the elite. Sacred books of Ancient Egypt, Ancient India are examples of this. With the widespread dissemination of writing, cryptography began to form as an independent science. First cryptosystems can be found already in the beginning of our era. Rapid development of cryptographic systems took place during the first and second world wars. Since the postwar period and up to the present day, the appearance of computing facilities accelerated the development and improvement of cryptographic methods. The main areas of use of cryptographic methods - the transfer of confidential information over communication channels (e.g., e-mail), authentication of transmitted messages, storage of information (documents, databases) on carriers in encrypted form. The article defines the state, problems and the main directions of improvement of the organization, estimates the effectiveness of the electoral commission.
