Within the framework of this article, an innovative approach to the formation of a mechanism for personnel management in the field of civil service is considered, elements of an innovative management system for civil servants are analyzed, the differences between an innovative approach to management in the civil service and the commercial sector are given, methods for assessing the effectiveness of civil servants are considered, and measures to form an innovative management approach in the field of public services in the Russian Federation.
