Innovative approach to foreign language teaching of a future professional at the university

In the article, the authors consider the innovative approach to foreign language teaching as a factor that contributes to the development of educational system as a whole. The authors specified the notion of “innovation”, systematized the characteristics of innovations in education. Attention is paid to the integration of pedagogical innovation theory and linguodidactics. The authors define their position in understanding innovative approach as a practical strategy in organizing foreign language teaching at the university. The description of implementing the first stage of the innovative model is presented.
