Foreign language competence as a basis of specialist 's successful work in the modern world

The article deals with issues related to the need to form a foreign language communicative competence in order to create a competitive workforce that can work effectively in modern conditions. It is established that knowledge of foreign languages is necessary for the formation of skills that go beyond a specific profession. The validity of the use of various foreign languages is particularly noted. It is concluded that currently there is a change in the learning process, taking into account the needs of each specialist, and the advantages of bilingualism are obvious.
