Foreign-language loans in modern Russian

Loans in Russian - the same integral part, as well as primordially Russian words. The globalization processes amplifying today only increase number of foreign-language words in the Russian lexicon. Many of loan words so “got used” and adapted to Russian-speaking that is frequent also are perceived as primordially Russian. Foreign-language words gradually get into modern Russian. The reasons consist in need for the name of a new thing, new phenomenon; need to differentiate substantially close, but nevertheless the differing concepts; need of specialization of concepts - in this or that sphere, for these or those purposes. The tendency is that the integral, not dismembered on separate components object and has to be designated “wholly”, but not a combination of words. The social and psychological reasons and factors of loan are defined by that all collective speaking or its part perceives the foreign-language word as more prestigious. In addition, communicative relevance of the designated concept is important. On the other hand, the special role is played by absence of the corresponding concept of cognitive base of language receptor; absence of more exact name (or its “loss” in the competition to loan); ensuring stylistic effect; expression the emotional of connotations which aren't possessed by an equivalent unit in language receptor.
