The article discusses the institutional environment of entrepreneurship in Russia. It is shown that in the field of entrepreneurship is the importance of both formal institutions and informal institutions. Considered one of these institutions is the Institute of taxation, its impact on the development of entrepreneurship. Shows the dynamics of tax revenue and structure of tax revenues.
