Institute of litigation finance: the experience of foreign countries and the potential of application in Russia

The article examines the institute of litigation financing, analyzes the mechanism of financing trials in foreign countries. Statistics on the market volume of this instrument in the USA, Great Britain and Germany are given. The current state of this institute and its development potential in the Russian Federation were also studied. In conclusion, the author highlights the most promising areas of application of this tool.
