Institute of natioanal sovereignty: a theoretical study

The article highlights a common characteristic of popular sovereignty, i.e. national independence in the Russian Federation, as well as the main forms of its realization, and еxplores the theoretical aspect of the Institute’s independence from the perspective of its application in the political sphere of society with regard to historical development. The theoretical base of the article are the basic principles, scientific theories and views on this aspect of the famous philosophers Jean Jacques Rousseau, Charles Louis Montesquieu, Emmanuel Joseph Sieyes, John Locke.
