The Institute of Public Control in the Context of Digitalization of the Public Administration System in Russia and Abroad

This article addresses the issue of digitalization of the public administration system and the modernization of the institution of public oversight. The author analyzes current trends toward integrating digital technologies into the activities of public authorities. Particular attention is paid to the need to create a unified digital portal for public oversight, providing citizens with access to information on the activities of state and local government bodies and their participation in governance processes. The article emphasizes the particular importance of legal support, data protection and improving the digital literacy of the population. It is proposed the concept of a «smart public administration system», combining information resources and oversight mechanisms to foster a more open and inclusive public administration.
