The institute of public expertise in practices of power and public cooperation: the historiographical review of national literature

The article deals with the historiographical review of major trends and findings of the research devoted to the phenomenon of public expertise as one of the manifestations of contemporary power and public communication and public participation. The scientific analysis of the public expertize as a form of social control is predisposed by the political agenda that determines involvement of the society in decision-making processes as being the core dimension of the administrative reform in the Russian Federation. The multidisciplinary nature of the research considering the main idea of the public expertise, its special features and functions are demonstrated through the analysis of monographies and academic journals. A wide range of the research addressing the study of public expertise phenomenon, comprising philosophical analysis of essential features of modern expert knowledge as well as jurisprudential and political papers being theoretical and practical in nature, including the construction of private expertise organization models by methods of applied mathematics, was revealed. The separate research pool aimed at studying actors of contemporary expert and analytical activities was also identified.
