Institute оf compensation of harm caused by crime in the context of the concept of reversionary right

The article deals with issues related to the norms of various branches of law that regulate compensation of harm caused by crime. Issues related to the concept of compensation of harm caused by crime through the prism of reversionary right and restorative justice, widely discussed in scientific circles, are also considered. These doctrines offer a completely different approach to issues of criminal responsibility and punishment. At the center of these doctrines is the identity of the victim and his/her needs, in particular the need to smooth out the harm caused by the crime. The author analyzes various legal literature, which indicates that these theories can be applied in the Russian legislation, but at the moment there is no single approach to solving this issue in the scientific literature, and this issue remains discursive.
