US government support instruments for organic agriculture

The study is focused on studying the US organic agriculture development model and identifying the features of state regulation of the sector. The main instrument of the stimulating state policy of organic agriculture in the United States is the program-targeted approach based on the National Organic Program (NOP). The characteristics of the NOP and a number of second-order programs made it possible to identify the features of US organic agriculture: (1) focused on the domestic market, (2) uses the NOP, OCCSP, EQIP, CRP programs as an incentive policy tool, (3) is concentrated mainly in large organizations.
