Instruments of state support for the development of comprehensive and deep processing of wood at timber processing enterprises

The development of a support system for timber processing enterprises is one of the strategic objectives of the Government of the Russian Federation. The article discusses government measures to support small and medium-sized businesses for the development of integrated wood processing, in order to achieve significant economic, environmental and social benefits. Electronic platforms through which programs and support projects are implemented have been studied. State support for the development of complex and advanced wood processing is represented not only by the financial component, but also by changes in the regulatory framework with the necessary restrictive or permitting measures. The work analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of these government support measures and presents problems that arise during the implementation of projects and business support programs. Conclusions are also drawn on current government programs and projects.
