Regional strategy tools, methods and technologies

The article deals with the issues related to the solution of strategic planning problems in the process of goal setting, forecasting, planning and programming of socio-economic development of the Russian Federation. Implementation of innovative tools and methods to control development in the region should take place in the form of implementation of complex of measures, which includes structuring databases, organizing the collection, verification and processing of data based on algorithms, predictive Analytics, building economic-mathematical models with a view to further issuing evidence-based recommendations on methods and modalities for the identified reference points in the socio-economic system.
