The article describes the concept of competitiveness, the definition of the main aspects and organizational conditions for managing the competitiveness of a for-profit organization. The author proposed a definition of the competitiveness of a for-profit organization. The article provides an overview of sources on the problem of the definition of competitiveness. As a key properties of competitiveness of the organization considered the possibility and necessity of its management. The most important determinants of managing the competitiveness of a commercial organization are listed and described. The for-profit organization needs the regular and correct marketing and flexible organizational structure to effectively manage competitiveness.
